Team Labor Doula Services
Staff will contact you via email within 72 hrs. to confirm and begin coordinating interviews. You will have the option to interview with our labor doulas and choose a primary doula and a backup doula.
The doulas supporting your Team Doula Service Package have completed between 10 – 30 births and have either completed or are working to complete their Doula Certification. They have experience delivering at several Washington DC area hospitals and have supported mostly low-risk expecting moms. You, as our client, are encouraged to attend our Meet the Doulas to be introduced to all team members. Next, the client is assigned to a team member based on their availability and the client’s due date.
Note: your assigned doula will provide a prenatal visit and will be the first one contacted on your day of labor. If the client’s assigned doula is unavailable, a back-up will be pulled from whichever Team Doula is on call.
Finally, the doula that attends your birth will also provide the follow-up postpartum visit:
- Hospital Doula Package: Three pre-natal and one postpartum visit -$1000
If a planned C-section is required before labor begins, the client can switch to Planned C-section Package $1000
