Baby Care for the 1st Month Classes
These classes will focus on “how to” take care of your newborn. You will receive clinical and practical information to assist new parents to care for their newborn and family.
Baby Care & Breastfeeding Basics Class
Who it’s for:
This three-hour and thirty-minute class is for expecting parents, new parents and anyone hoping to learn more about infant care. For expecting mothers and partners, we recommend this class be taken during the 2nd trimester.
Details:
This three-hour and thirty-minute class prepares parents to understand their new infant’s needs.
Course topics include:
- Procedures following the baby’s birth
- Understanding normal newborn characteristics
- Bathing, diapering, burping, holding, and swaddling.
- Infant soothing techniques
- Infant safety and nursery equipment
- Latching on
- Common breastfeeding concerns and problems
- How to know when to call the pediatrician
A list of essential items and products to purchase for baby’s care will also be provided.
$85 per couple or Baby Care Basic + Infant CPR class for $145 per couple
Advance Breastfeeding for Mom, Partner or Support Person
Who it’s for:
Expectant parents that wish to prepare for pumping, bottle feeding and return to work. We recommend you take this class at week 34, 35 or 36. This class will supplement Momease Baby Care and Breastfeeding Basics class to develop a successful breasting plan.
Details:
This two-hour class teaches the basic anatomy and physiology involved in breast milk production and breastfeeding and the basic information for choosing and when to use a breast pump.
Course topics include:
- Mothers and partner will learn what to expect during the baby’s first month, as well as what to do if things do not go as planned.
- Class will discuss what preparation and supplies are helpful.
- Provide a pump demonstrations and mothers will also receive instruction on pumping strategies for the early weeks and returning to work.
- Partner or support person will be given tips on “How to Support” the breastfeeding Mom.

Private Baby Care & Breastfeeding Basics
Who it’s for:
This class is for expecting parents, new parents, and anyone hoping to learn more about infant care. For expecting mothers and partners, we recommend this class be taken during the 2nd trimester.

This two-hour Private class prepares parents to understand their new infant’s needs. The instructor can teach the class at client’s home or virtual.
Course topics include:
- Procedures following the baby’s birth
- Understanding normal newborn characteristics
- Bathing, diapering, burping, holding, and swaddling
- Infant soothing techniques
- Infant safety and nursery equipment
- Breastfeeding techniques for a successful latch
- How to know when to call the pediatrician
A list of essential items and products to purchase for the baby’s care will also be provided.
$225 per couple virtual and $275 in person at your home
Infant & Child CPR Group Class
Who it’s for:
Expectant parents, new parents, other family members and childcare professionals, including private nannies.
Details:
The Infant & Child CPR class is taught at various office locations. This two-hour American Heart Association (AHA) course life-saving infant and child CPR skills.
Course topics include:
- How to recognize the signs of choking
- How to prevent the most common fatal injuries
- How to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
- Up-to-date infant CPR procedures
$85 per couple or Infant CPR + Baby Care Basic for $145 per couple.
Private Infant CPR Class
Who it’s for:
Expectant parents, new parents, other family members and childcare professionals, including private nannies.
Details:
Our private Infant and Child CPR class is taught either at the client’s home or office. This two-hour American Heart Association (AHA) course life-saving infant and child CPR skills.
Course topics include:
- How to recognize the signs of choking
- How to prevent the most common fatal injuries
- How to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
- Up-to-date infant CPR procedures
There is a minimum of 4 people and maximum of 6 people
$85 per person
Infant Car Seat Safety Demonstration
Who it’s for:
This class is intended for new and expectant parents and others who transport infants.
Details:
You will learn and demonstrate the appropriate car seat to use for your child from birth to one year old.
Course topics include:
- How to properly restrain your baby’s car seat in a vehicle
- How to select the best and safest car seat for your vehicle, child and personal needs
- Understand the different parts of the car seat and their purpose
- How to properly secure your baby in a car seat
- Reviewing after-market products are and if they’re useful and safe
- When’s the appropriate time to upgrade one car seat to another
The instructor will NOT install any car seats, but will provide the information for successful installation!
$85 per couple for class * $150 for installation for on car seat
